Music / MNDR “Feed Me Diamonds”

Feed Me Diamonds is MNDR’s debut studio album, released August 14, 2012 on Ultra Records and WonderSound Records. It was produced by Peter Wade, who also co-wrote the songs with Amanda Warner, mixed by Tony Maserati and mastered by Dave Kutch. The album was recorded across Brooklyn and Los Angeles.

Its singles include “#1 in Heaven” and the title track, “Feed Me Diamonds”. The record sets analog synth-pop against dark club textures, the blend that became MNDR’s signature sound. Spin ranked it No. 8 on its list of the 20 Best Pop Albums of 2012, and the critical acclaim led to MNDR’s performance on the Late Show with David Letterman.
