Lightning Bolt

Well again…obvious, but truly the only modern band that has truly changed rock music.  Paradigm shift.  I watched David Cross watch them play with his jaw on the floor asking if they had been around for awhile.  Also, I watched a kid throw himself off of two stories onto cement at one of their shows in Oakland.  The “GET FREE” DIY spaces I lived at in Oakland hosted many a Lightning Bolt show.

May the Brian’s live in infamy forever.

    Figured you might like this;-

Convince one of your new rich muso friends to buy you it.

This is literally the raddest 60s-70s era modular analogue synth ever, well other than a moog modular. $9500 but hey, its got knobs galore.

If you find a decent midi to VCF adapter you can midi it too (like most old modulars), but the beauty is that its got that crazed sequencing matrix for utterly bugging out on.

Hey,I’m soo sad you are playing at the FOX. They have the worst sound seystm ever. I know you are going to play something a little more secret and smaller while you’re here. But where? I’ve seen you a handful of times at little warehouse spots in Oakland P
